Kirkland dentist to offer free oral cancer screenings

Oral Cancer affects thousands of Washington residents a year and is commonly not detected in its first stages. On average, only half of those diagnosed with the disease will survive more than five years. As a result, April has been named Oral Cancer Awareness Month.

Oral Cancer affects thousands of Washington residents a year and is commonly not detected in its first stages. On average, only half of those diagnosed with the disease will survive more than five years. As a result, April has been named Oral Cancer Awareness Month.

Quality Dental Plan’s Dr. Lindsay Barry has partnered with The Oral Cancer Foundation to help create awareness in the Kirkland community. Barry General Dentistry will offer free oral cancer screenings from April 11- 15.
