Kirkland Council recognizes longtime employees

The Kirkland City Council honored city employees who have reached milestone anniversaries between the dates of Jan. 1 to June 30 during its meeting on Tuesday.

The Kirkland City Council honored city employees who have reached milestone anniversaries between the dates of Jan. 1 to June 30 during its meeting on Tuesday.

The following employees were recognized for providing 20 years of service to the city: Thomas V. Chriest, Public Works senior construction inspector; Helen E. Ahrens-Byington, fire chief; Hobart E. Hani, fire lieutenant; Michael D. Aguilar, firefighter; Gary M. Eggleston, Jr., police sergeant; Tracy L. Fish, Parks lead maintenance person.

The following employees were recognized for 25 years of service: Kathryn Coleman, Public Works development engineering analyst’ Richard A. Krebs, police lieutenant; Bryan P. Mcnaghten, police sergeant; John S. Haslip, police lieutenant; Grace A. Steuart, assistant fire marshal; Barry L. Scott, Finance & Administration purchasing agent; Marilynne M. Beard, deputy city manager; Kenneth R. Bolser, Parks, grounds person; Janice Coogan, senior planner; Mike Kirchner, Public Works, craftsperson; John Hopfauf, Public Works Street & Grounds Division manager; Judd E. Tuberg, code enforcement officer; Eric W. Olsen, chief of police; Joe Brown, Public Works, senior maintenance person; and Richard N. Seibert, police lieutenant.

Michael J. Ursino, police captain, was honored for 30 years of service.
