132nd Avenue Northeast will be the last arterial to receive a new surface this year.

Kirkland’s overlay contractor is currently preparing it — from Northeast 100th Street to Northeast 113th Street — for a new surface. Work crews will likely apply and pave that new surface during the next three- or four-day window of dry weather.

Meanwhile, the city’s project team has notified city leaders that it has postponed until spring 2015 the repaving of Lake Washington Boulevard.
