The Park Lane project team is nearing completion on the design for this downtown street connecting the Kirkland Transit Center to the waterfront.

The team plans to advertise for contractor bids by mid-October. Construction on the one-level, pedestrian-friendly, plaza-style street begins January 2015 and will end in spring.

The project will improve walkability throughout downtown while also helping to protect Lake Washington through the addition of significant surface water management and treatment facilities.
