Kirkland church hosts AAUW event with Y-WE

Join the Kirkland-Redmond branch of AAUW for an event with Y-WE on Oct. 15 at the Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church in Kirkland.

Y-WE is a new organization whose goal is to empower young women from diverse backgrounds to step up as leaders in their schools, communities and the world.

Jamie-Rose Edwards, an AAUW Community Action Grant Recipient and Director of Y-WE, will be the featured speaker.

Guests are welcome at this event. Light refreshments will be available.
