Kirkland changes online address: visit www.kirklandwa.gov

With the upcoming annexation of the Finn Hill, North Juanita and Kingsgate areas, some residents will see a change in their postal address.

With the upcoming annexation of the Finn Hill, North Juanita and Kingsgate areas, some residents will see a change in their postal address. The City of Kirkland will also have an address change. Starting Wednesday, official City of Kirkland government Web site can be accessed at www.kirklandwa.gov.  City e-mail addresses will also change to the new domain.

“As we welcome our new neighbors in the annexation area, we wanted to have an easier web and e-mail address for all of our residents to use,” notes City Manager Kurt Triplett.

To contact an individual council or staff member, use the following e-mail pattern: First Letter of First Name + Full Last Name@kirklandwa.gov.  Example: Joe Smith, jsmith@kirklandwa.gov. There is an online city staff directory at www.kirklandwa.gov (Select: Contact Us.)

The current domain (ci.kirkland.wa.us) will work concurrently with the new web and e-mail addresses through 2012. This will allow for the update over time of city documents, stationery, publications, web pages, and links to other Web sites. To report broken links on the city’s Web site, e-mail webmaster@kirklandwa.gov or call the IT Department at 425-587-3200.
