Freshman Tori Bivens entered the state high school fastpitch softball tournament with a lot on her shoulders. She had taken over for Lake Washington High School’s No. 1 starting pitcher, who was injured earlier this season, and was asked to take on the most important defensive position on the field in the most important tournament of the year in Selah, Wash.
