The Juanita High softball team might have trailed Interlake early on in Monday’s KingCo game in Bellevue, but a 12-run blast in the fourth inning turned a close game into a 16-4 rout.

The Rebels (5-4 overall, 5-2) trailed 4-3 entering the top of the fourth inning, and tied the game on an error, allowing Tatum Kawabata to reach first base and Jordan Schroeder to score.

Brynn Radke hit an RBI single shortly thereafter for the go-ahead run.

Radke finished with three hits, three RBIs and home run in the win for the Rebels. Lisa Nelson had three RBIs on two hits, while Kristina Warford and Briar Swayne each had two RBIs.

Megan Murray picked up the win for Juanita, going four innings with four strikeouts and four earned runs.

Next, the Rebels are scheduled to take on league-leading Lake Washington (7-2, 7-0) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Juanita High School.
