Between June 16-22, there were 185 traffic incidents, 21 traffic accidents, two DUIs, 29 general traffic incidents, three incidents involving illegal drugs, 53 alarm calls, 13 abandoned vehicles, six burglaries, 10 incidents of fraud, 12 civil incidents, eight cases of harassment, 17 thefts, 22 vehicle prowls, two vehicle thefts, 13 warrants served, 19 noise complaints, three animal call, nine incidents of domestic violence, two fireworks complaints, 16 disturbances, one sex offense and one hit and run involving at least one arrest.

June 16

Robbery: 5:52 p.m., 14300 block of 124th Ave. NE; A juvenile was arrested for Robbery in the 2nd Degree after a strongarm robbery of Gourmet Latte.

June 17

Warrant arrest: 3:15 a.m., 12400 block of 116th Ave. NE; A 22-year-old Seattle man was contacted and found to have a $5,000 warrant for his arrest having driven with a suspended license. The man was arrested and transported to the warrant meet.

June 18

Malicious mischief: 1:45 a.m., 13000 block of NE 70th Pl.; A 29-year-old man was arrested for Malicious Mischief in the 3rd Degree after he punched and broke a window at the Bridle Trails AM/PM. The man was located in the Red Apple Market parking lot, just a few hundred feet away.

Domestic: 4:20 p.m., 12600 block of NE 119th St.; A 46-year-old Mountlake Terrace man was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree, Domestic Violence, after a physical fight with his sister, a 43-year-old Kirkland woman. The man left the scene before police arrived, but was cited through investigation. The female had minor injuries on her neck.

Hit-and-run: 10:19 p.m., 12700 block of NE 132nd St.; A 27-year-old man was arrested for Hit and Run and Negligent Driving in the 1st Degree after he was witnessed driving into a fence and fire hydrant, and then driving away from the scene. The man was contacted at his home and arrested, booked and released from Kirkland jail.

June 19

Traffic: 3:40 a.m., 12400 block of NE 124th St.; A juvenile male and his 14-year-old friend were stopped driving a vehicle taken without permission from the male’s uncle. The parents were contacted, and took custody of the juveniles. The vehicle was recovered by the grandfather, who was the legal owner and did not want to pursue charges of taking a motor vehicle without permission. The male has been charged with driving without a license through juvenile court.

Theft: 9:30 a.m., 200 block of Parkplace Center; Parkplace QFC employees called about and uncooperative shoplifter that was being held by a manager. The suspect, a 35-year-old Seattle man, had $229.40 in unpaid merchandise in his possession. The man had attempted to evade employees when exiting with the items he had not paid for, and a three-year trespass letter was issued.

Warrant arrest: 11:19 p.m., 8700 block of NE 132nd St.; A 35-year-old Lake Stevens man was arrested on his outstanding felony Department of Corrections escape warrant. The man was highly confrontational and is extremely anti-police, but was arrested and transported to Kirkland Jail without incident.

June 20

Assault: 10 p.m., 12040 NE 128th St.; An EvergreenHealth security officer was kicked in the genitals by an involuntary 25-year-old female patient while attempting to restrain her. The woman was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree.

June 21

Traffic: 7:45 p.m., 13900 block of 100th Ave. NE; A 33-year-old man was stopped on traffic and found to be driving with a suspended license and had also failed to transfer the title of his 2009 Subaru Legacy. The man had prior KPD warrants and multiple convictions for the same offenses. The man was arrested, processed and released from Kirkland jail. The vehicle was towed.

June 22

Domestic: 11:11 a.m., 500 block of Alexander Ave.; A 24-year-old man assaulted his 19-year-old brother and was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree, Domestic Violence. Upon a search, the man was also found to be in possession of a stolen Washington driver’s license and social security card.

Minor, liquor violation: 10:32 p.m., 7800 block of NE 144th St.; Two juveniles were arrested after being observed by officer carrying open cans of beer while crossing the street. Upon further investigation, they were determined to have consumed alcohol. Both suspects were cited for MIP/MIC and released on person recognizance to their parents.
