Nighttime drivers on Interstate 405 in the Kirkland area should expect possible delays starting tonight, Nov. 8, to Sunday morning, Nov. 8. Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation plan to reduce the roadway to a single lane and close nearby ramps to complete lane restriping work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.

Northbound I-405 closures:

• Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between SR 520 and Northeast 70th Street will close starting at 7 p.m. Two lanes will close at 7:30 p.m., and three lanes will close at 11 p.m. The first lane will open at 8 a.m. the second lane will be open by 9 a.m. and all lanes will reopen by noon.
• Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street and Northeast 160th Street will close starting at 7 p.m. Two lanes will close at 8 p.m., and three lanes will close at midnight. The first lane will open at 8:30 a.m. and all lanes will reopen by 10:30 a.m.

Southbound I-405 closures:

• Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 70th Street and SR 520 will close starting at 7 p.m. for lane striping work. Two lanes will close at 9 p.m., and three lanes will close at midnight. The first lane will open at 7 a.m., the second lane will be open by 8 a.m. and all lanes will reopen by 9 a.m.
• Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and Northeast 124th Street will close starting at 7 p.m. Two lanes will close at 8 p.m., and three lanes will close at 11 p.m. The first lane will open at 7:30 a.m., the second lane will be open by 9 a.m. and all lanes will reopen by noon.
