I-405 lane and ramp closures between Bellevue and Lynnwood this weekend

Drivers on Interstate 405 between Bellevue and Lynnwood should prepare for possible delays Friday evening through midday Sunday.

Drivers on Interstate 405 between Bellevue and Lynnwood should prepare for possible delays Friday evening through midday Sunday.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close several lanes and ramps on I-405 between State Route 520 in Bellevue and Interstate 5 in Lynnwood. These closures are needed to complete paving, striping and traffic shift work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.

Lane closures:

  • Friday, April 17, to the morning of Sunday, April 19

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 70th Street and SR 520 will be closed both nights from 7 p.m. to 9:30 a.m.

  • Saturday, April 18, to Sunday, April 19

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 124th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to noon.

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street and Northeast 85th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m.

o   One lane of northbound I-405 between Northeast 195th Street and SR 527 will be closed from 7 p.m. to noon.

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between SR 527 and I-5 in Lynnwood will be closed from 7 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Ramp closures:

  • Saturday, April 18, to the morning of Sunday, April 19

o   The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 85th Street will be closed from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

o   The northbound I-405 ramp to SR 527 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.

o   The SR 527 ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.
