High School students participate in Model United Nations conference

Students from Juanita, Lake Washington, Redmond and Tesla STEM High Schools participated in the 15th annual Washington State Model United Nations conference at the University of Washington on the weekend of February 28 through March 1.

Students from Juanita, Lake Washington, Redmond and Tesla STEM High Schools participated in the 15th annual Washington State Model United Nations conference at the University of Washington on the weekend of February 28 through March 1. This was the first event for Tesla STEM High School’s Model United Nations Club. Here are the results for both Kirkland schools.

Juanita High School:

Adrian Leary – Distinguished Delegate award in the International Court of Justice

Shawdi Mehrvarzan – Outstanding Position Paper Award

Lake Washington High School:

Arman Talkar – Distinguished Delegate in the Office of Drugs and Crime
