Help sought in identifying deceased found on Kirkland street

Woman died of hypothermia.

A presumed homeless person, found dead outdoors in the 700 block of 1st Street in Kirkland on Jan. 12, has not been identified by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office. The office is now asking the public to help.

The person is described as a female, probable mixed-race, 30-60 years old, 5 feet 5 inches in height and 149 pounds. She has an old Cesarean-section scar and at the time of her death was wearing a medical bracelet with the name “Doe, Jo” and an admitting date of Jan. 10

The cause of death, the office reports, is hypothermia due to environmental exposure. The manner of death is listed as an accident.
