Hague files to run again for King County Council

Jane Hague filed for re-election to the King County Council on Monday.

Jane Hague filed for re-election to the King County Council on Monday.

Hague represents District 6 which includes the communities of Kirkland, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Redmond, Medina, Clyde Hill, Hunts Point, Beaux Arts, Woodinville, and Yarrow Point.

“I am heartened by the support I have received since I began my campaign in February,” said Hague, who is vice chair on the council. “I am proud of my record and proud to serve as the Eastside’s Advocate.”

Hague has been endorsed by a broad, bipartisan coalition including local elected officials, community leaders, business, labor, public safety, human services and arts advocates.

She has also received awards for her commitment and advocacy from the Eastside Human Services Coalition, Kid’s Quest, Youth Eastside Services, Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, Kirkland Boys and Girls Club, the Crisis Clinic and several others.
