Finn Hill Neighborhood Alliance members will host a walk on the perimeter trail of Saint Edward State Park at 10 a.m. tomorrow, April 19.

Jeanette Leach and George Meredith will lead a walk, which will start at the park ranger’s office.

The perimeter trail goes around the edge of the grassy area at Saint Edward State Park. Along the way, walkers will have views of the seminary from every angle and can check out the native plant area, explore the grotto, see the extraordinary playground created by volunteer efforts and observe the apple orchard with 100-year-old trees.

Saturday is also a free day for state parks, so the Discover Pass is not needed for parking.

Plan on about one to one-and-a-half hours for the 1.5 mile walk.
