To commemorate Girl Scouts 97th anniversary March 12, Kingsgate Library is displaying a collection of Girl Scout memorabilia through the month of March.

Girl Scouts was founded by Juliette “Daisy” Low on March 12, 1912, when 18 girls in Savannah, Georgia were invited to join the first Girl Scout troop. Girl Scout’s has grown considerably since then, with current membership close to 4 million.
