The Eastside Audubon invites Kirkland residents to join a family birding walk on April 13 at Juanita Bay Park.

With the possibility of sighting Washington’s state bird, the American Goldfinch or being the one who finds the most nests, April is a time when birds show off their spring feathers and sing in marshes and meadows.

The walk is from 10 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. rain or shine. Dress appropriate for the weather, binoculars suggested.
