Drivers who use southbound Interstate 405 through Kirkland should expect possible delays this afternoon, Dec. 29.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close the right lane of southbound I-405 from Northeast 70th Place to State Route 520 from 3 to 5 p.m. to repair a damaged luminaire.

During the closure, two southbound general purpose lanes of I-405 will remain open and the express toll lanes will operate as usual.
