DatingAdvice.com has named Kirkland as one of the “15 Best Small Cities for Singles.”

Kirkland was ranked No. 3 overall behind Ames, Iowa and Newton, Mass.

The website stated that Kirkland is home to a unique downtown waterfront, has plenty of restaurants, art galleries, public parks, beaches and “singles to satisfy all of your desires.”

THe website claims that Kirkland has 41,371 singles.

“Nearby technology firms keep this city at the top of the industry and economy, but add in the relaxed atmosphere and people-oriented community and you’ve got a spectacular combination,” the website states. “You can’t know where you’ll meet your new beau, but you can rest assured you’ll have a great time finding them here.”

The site claims it used MONEY’s annual list of the best places to live, as well as comparing total population numbers and the amount of singles to narrowed down the cities to 15. MONEY ranked Kirkland the No. 5 best city to live in the nation last year.
