The following is a release from the city of Kirkland:
As part of SRM Development’s public improvements to the Cross Kirkland Corridor (CKC), a temporary detour on the CKC will be in place from 6:30 a.m. to early afternoon tomorrow, July 21.
This temporary detour will allow SRM Development to sandblast the recently constructed concrete transition from the gravel interim trail to the permanent concrete trail now running through the Google campus.
View the Temporary Detour Map. This temporary detour is shown in red on the map.
The standard detour is suspended until this construction is complete.
We are excited about SRM’s improvements and ask for your patience. SRM anticipates completion of the public improvements in early to mid-August. At that time, all detours will be removed and the space will be open to the public.
For questions or concerns, email ckc@kirklandwa.gov or call 425-587-3011.
