Have you seen the new food truck in town? Near East brand’s first mobile food truck, the Couscous Caravan, will be dishing out free tastes of worldly flavors and Northwest-inspired couscous dishes in Kirkland this weekend.

Stop by the Couscous Caravan for a free taste of global Near East Couscous dishes with a Seattle spin from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at Safeway, 12519 N.E. 85th St., Kirkland; or from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10 at Safeway, 14444 124th Ave. N.E., Kirkland.

You’ll also get free recipe booklets for easy-to-make couscous creations – including locally inspired recipes from Seattle’s James Beard Award Winner Jason Wilson of Crush – along with Near East coupons and the chance to get an “I <3 Couscous” t-shirt (while supplies last).
