The following is a release from the city of Kirkland:
Voters in Lake Washington School District No. 414 and the City of Kirkland will be receiving a correction in the mail to several pages of their voters’ pamphlets in the next few days. King County’s voters’ pamphlets were mailed this week to all voters, but those mailed to voters in these areas were missing two components— information on City of Kirkland Proposition No. 1, Formation of Kirkland Aquatics and Recreation District, and a Director District No. 1 candidate photo for Lake Washington School District No. 414.
“We regret our publishing error and remind voters they can get all of their voter information online as well,” said King County Elections Director Sherril Huff. “Voters have until November 3rd to return their ballots and will receive the corrected pages early next week, with plenty of time to vote.”
Voters are reminded to contact the Elections Department if their ballots have not arrived by October 22 so there is plenty of time to issue a new one or learn about their voting options.
