Reed will teach students how to cook freeze-dried food when the power is out. He will demonstrate making tacos, spaghetti, chicken teriyaki, scrambled eggs, no-cook chicken salad, peach crisp, macaroon cookies and milk.

In this hands-on class, participants will cook the foods with him and have a chance to sample the dishes, too.

Reed will discuss the nutritional value of freeze-dried foods and allow time for questions.
