The Kirkland Concours d’Elegance returns to Carillon Point Sept. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Restored and antique classic cars will be featured in the parking lots and walkways and vintage boats moored nearby in Yarrow Bay.

The age of rockets and jet travel is embodied in the rare 1953 Fiat 8V Ghia “Supersonic” that will be shown. The 8V, or “Otto Vu” as it is known in Italian, exhibits the modern Italian style that the French public and press hailed as the most beautiful car in the 1953 Paris Auto Show.

All of the net proceeds will benefit the uncompensated children’s healthcare funds at Children’s Hospital and Evergreen Healthcare. Since beginning in 2002, the show has raised nearly $1 million for charity.

Tickets for the Kirkland Concours d’Elegance may be purchased in advance. Adult tickets are $25, $10 for youths and children under 7 years-old are free. Tickets also may be purchased at the gate on Sunday, Sept. 7. Adult tickets prices include one, full color, collectors program.
