City of Kirkland plows priority streets, no streets closed

The City of Kirkland Public Works road maintenance crews have been plowing priority streets since midnight and say that no streets have been closed in the city. The priority streets include those near Evergreen Hospital, significant arterials that to and from I-405, along with transit, schools and fire station routes.

Both day and night recreation programs provided by the city have been cancelled for Thursday.

Building inspections will occur where it is safe to travel. Applicants will be notified of any rescheduled inspections. City Hall is open until 5 p.m. and the Kirkland Municipal Court is open until 4:30 p.m.
