The city of Kirkland Parks and Community Services Department will be hosting its Summer Feeding Program. The first in the ten week series will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 24 at 132nd Square Park in Totem Lake, 13159 132nd Ave NE, and 12:30-1 p.m. at Juanita Beach Park, 9703 NE Juanita Drive (north side of Park). There are no income requirements or registration required. Any child under the age of 18 may participate.
This is the third year the city of Kirkland is sponsoring the program. In 2013, 455 meals were served over ten weeks between the two sites. The program is also supported by the Lake Washington School District, Kirkland Kiwanis and Metropolitan Market.
