Registration is now open for the City of Kirkland’s Community Emergency Response Team course.
The course runs on Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m., with the first set for March 1. Classes meet at Kirkland City Hall, 123 5th Ave.
Students will learn about personal preparedness, light search and rescue, fire suppression, disaster medicine and more. In addition to the eight weeks of instruction, students will participate in a drill.
