Balducci receives endorsement of Gov. Jay Inslee, U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell

Bellevue Mayor Claudia Balducci announced the endorsement of Washington State Gov. Jay Inslee and U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell in her campaign for King County Council to represent the Eastside. Senator Cantwell joins Senator Murray and Representatives Suzan DelBene and Adam Smith giving Balducci the support of every Congressional delegate representing the Eastside.
Balducci has earned an “Outstanding” rating from the non-partisan King County Municipal League and the endorsement of the Seattle Times where they cited her, “grit and energy for tackling difficult issues,” and called her a “proven to be a leader with an intellectual honesty.”
Inslee andCantwell join respected leaders across the County including King County Executive Dow Constantine, former governor Christine Gregoire, State Sen. Cyrus Habib, State Representatives Ross Hunter (former), Tana Senn, Judy Clibborn, and Marcie Maxwell (former), and local mayors and councilmembers from Bellevue, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Redmond, Medina, Woodinville, Issaquah and Bothell.
