Snohomish County deputies are searching for an Arlington couple after they went missing Monday.

Patrick Shunn, 45, and his wife, Monique Patenaude, 46, were reported missing by neighbors on Tuesday afternoon.

Shunn was last seen at his Kirkland workplace on Monday but did not come in Tuesday, Patenaude was last seen around 1 p.m. on Monday near the couple’s house in the 27800 block of Whitman Road, a release from the Sheriff’s office said.

The disappearance is suspicious because it is unusual for the couple to not be in contact with friends or family, the release said.

Law enforcement is searching for either of the couple’s vehicles: a tan 2000 Landrover Discovery (Washington plates AR02639) and a black 1995 Jeep (Wasington plates WB02789).
