Advisory group to discuss next steps for I-405/SR 167 corridor projects, transit performance

The public is invited to join Washington State Department of Transportation and elected officials on Tuesday in Bothell as they discuss ongoing and future improvements along the Interstate 405/State Route 167 corridor.

During the next quarterly meeting of the I-405/SR 167 Executive Advisory Group, WSDOT representatives will present an update on funded projects in the I-405/SR 167 program, as well as the latest information on I-405 express toll lanes performance. They will also review potential options for funding and building the next set of improvements on the north end of I-405.

Officials from Sound Transit, Community Transit and King County Metro will also provide recent information about their use of express toll lanes to provide more reliable bus operations with increasing ridership and regional growth.

The meeting will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday at Bothell City Hall Council Chambers, 18415 101st Ave. N.E.

Members of the public are welcome to attend and provide brief comments. Minutes and meeting materials will be posted to the WSDOT I-405/SR 167 Executive Advisory Group website.
