Story telling and sundaes at Bridle Trails State Park in Kirkland

Bridle Trails State Park in Kirkland will host an evening of stories by professional storyteller, folklorist and author Margaret Read MacDonald from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Aug. 13.

Bridle Trails State Park in Kirkland will host an evening of stories by professional storyteller, folklorist and author Margaret Read MacDonald from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Aug. 13.

Margaret breathes life into traditional folktales, sharing them in exciting performances. She engages the audience in singing, chanting, and moving in what she calls “story play.” Both young and old find enjoyment in playing along with these folktales.

Attendees can also construct their own free sundaes.

Bridle Trails State Park is located at 5300 116th Ave NE in Kirkland. Discover Pass required for parking in the main parking lot.
