The last Math Challenge Tournament of fall 2016 took place Dec. 9 at the Old Redmond School House. This location hosted 145 students, including many from Kirkland schools in grades 2-5.
Throughout the week, many locations hosted the tournament including Thoreau Elementary in Kirkland, which hosted 120 students.
Many kids enjoyed and claimed that this tournament is fun because the math problems presented are interesting and sometimes hard to solve. The
As the Math Challenge Tournament wrapped up, there were more than 1,000 students who participated in the Seattle and on the Eastside. The results will be announced in January 2017.
