Be sure to mark your calendar for September 17th, 2pm–9pm, and join us in downtown Kirkland for the first ever Green Festival along Park Lane. Shop at our premier outdoor Eco-market that showcases green goods, eco-friendly services, and community information/outreach. Learn from our local leaders’ presentations and from participating regional organizations committed to making environmental stewardship a key ingredient to success.
Our festive evening Street Dance features live music from The Big Luv Band. Remember to bring along your Wednesday Market bag and enjoy a delicious Harvest dinner and Grape Stomp. You won’t want to be anywhere else but in downtown Kirkland all day!
The Green Festival is part of Sustainable September 2008, brought to you by the Kirkland Chamber and the City of Kirkland. Kirkland is proud to support a greener community and offers a unique Green Business and Green Building program that serve as models for other cities. Sustainable September is a non-profit organization with an overall mission to promote Eastside businesses and organizations that are committed to growing the local economy and practicing environmental stewardship.
