The Green Festival is part of Sustainable September 2008, brought to you by the Kirkland Chamber and the City of Kirkland. Kirkland is proud to support a greener community and offers a unique Green Business and Green Building program that serve as models for other cities. Sustainable September is a non-profit organization with an overall mission to promote Eastside businesses and organizations that are committed to growing the local economy and practicing environmental stewardship.

Hungry for more information? Then join us for Sustainable Saturdays in September, an opportunity to learn. Free classes are offered at Kirkland’s City Hall at 10:30am and 11:30am on Sept. 13th, 20th & 27th. Invite your neighbors, friends and family for these richly informative sessions.

With all this newfound knowledge, you may be inspired to create green goals for yourself, family, and business. For additional information on these and other Sustainable September events, visit us at www.sustainableseptember.org
