The word “maestro” refers to one who combines unique musicianship and immense virtuosity. Master U. Srinivas fulfills this definition to the hit. Srinivas has revived the mandolin’s status in classical Indian music. He is a musical phenomenon whose perfection of tone and execution come as spontaneously as the free and unfettered flow of his ideas.
