Lake Washington, Redmond bands to perform benefit concert

Student bands from both Lake Washington and Redmond high schools are joining forces to perform a benefit concert for Rainier Valley Food Bank and the Humane Society at 7 p.m. Nov. 19th at the Kirkland Teen Union Building, 348 Kirkland Ave.

Headlining the show are local favorites The Velvet Mornings, an alt/pop band comprised of Redmond students Joey Boone, Zach Grande, Reagan Wells and Spencer Blome. Also performing is W16, recently featured on REVOLT TV’s “Sounds by the Sound,” with Caspian Coberly, Kofi Willliams and Jacob Lallas. Rounding out the lineup are Lopii, an alt/indie duo comprised of twins Olivia and Katie Lopez, and Dylan Sabine, an upcoming singer/songwriter.

Admission to the concert is $7 or four cans of food (people or pet).
