Pull out your jingle bells and join the Kirkland Performance Center for the return of its Old-Time Holiday Show.

In the tradition of radio variety shows like Prairie Home Companion and old-fashioned holiday TV specials including Mitch Miller’s Sing Along and the Ed Sullivan Christmas Show, KPC puts together an evening of holiday entertainment featuring singers, comedy acts, specialty performers, choral groups, musicians and audience sing-a-longs.

Featured performers include the Northwest Sound Men’s Chorus, Magic and Illusions by Steffan Soule, singer/comedian “Aunt Dottie,” hot jazz trumpet and vocalist Jake Bergevin; Steve Thoreson, international opera and classical basso profundo; Katie Lake & Sarosh Ahmad, international ballroom dance champions; Robert Jones, pianist/accompanist; and Bill Robison, international clown.

Share the holiday spirit during the event by donating non-perishables to the KPC’s Hopelink food drive or purchasing a gift for a child in need from the organization’s KITH giving tree.

A Christmas cookie tasting, courtesy of Trellis Restaurant, will be offered during matinees only and a holiday sweater contest will be held Saturday night. Drawings for prizes from the Heathman Hotel will be held during all performances. Performances begin at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 19 and 2 p.m. Dec. 20 at the Kirkland Performance Center, 350 Kirkland Ave. Tickets are $25 adults and seniors and $10 youth. For information, visit www.kpcenter.org or call 425-893-9900.
