Kirkland is hosting its first City-wide block party, Crossing Kirkland, which will be an opportunity for locals to get out and enjoy the Cross Kirkland Corridor (CKC), meet neighbors and have some fun.
On Sept. 9 from 12 to 3 p.m., friends and residents of Kirkland are invited to participate in this event. Featuring activity stations hosted by Kirkland neighborhoods along a central segment of the CKC, there will be games, works of art from local artists, natural and historical tours and information, food trucks, face-painting and more.
This is a volunteer-run event and there is still time to be part of the process. To help out, share ideas and host a station, visit their website for more information and to contact event organizers.
