The Eighth Annual Phil Smart Kirkland Concours d’Elegance is the Pacific Northwest’s premier Concours event offering a weekend of festivities for car, food and wine enthusiasts of all kinds on Sunday, Sept. 12. All proceeds will benefit the uncompensated care funds for children at Evergreen Hospital and Seattle Children’s Hospital to help prevent, treat and eliminate pediatric disease.

New to the event this year is Vin d’Elegance, the result of a partnership between the Kirkland Concours d’Elegance and Woodinville Wine Country. Taking place on Saturday, Sept. 11, Vin d’Elegance will offer a taste of some of Washington state’s finest wines and an eyeful of classic, vintage automobiles from the Kirkland Concours. The event will be held in Woodinville Wine Country at various participating wineries from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Each of the participating wineries will donate 50 percent of the proceeds from each tasting fee, along with 5 percent of the day’s sales, to support the Kirkland Concours d’Elegance cause for Seattle Children’s Hospital and Evergreen Hospital Medical Center. Each “taster” will receive one coupon good toward $5 off an adult general admission ticket to the Concours event on Sept. 12 at Carillon Point in Kirkland.

The Kirkland Concours d’Elegance, which will take place from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sept. 12, showcases more than 100 of the world’s most beautiful and rare examples of “rolling art” in a world-class setting on the shores of Lake Washington at Carillon Point.
