The city of Kirkland has two adult vacancies occurring on the Cultural Arts Commission. The role of the Cultural Arts Commission is to advise the City Council on public art acquisitions and loans, review and recommend projects under the city’s “one percent for the arts” program and, after consultation with the City Manager, promote strategic planning and development for arts, culture and heritage in the community, including implementation of projects.
Interested citizens are invited to apply. Completed applications must be received by the City Clerk prior to 1 p.m. on April 13.

These vacancies will be appointed by the Cultural Arts Commission who will interview qualified applicants on April 14 beginning at noon.
The Cultural Arts Commission holds monthly meetings the third Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Kirkland City Hall.
