Kirkland Choral Society (KCS) is seeking experienced singers in all voice ranges for the upcoming 2015-16 performance season.
KCS performs a wide variety of genres with emphasis on the choral masters and significant works by contemporary composers.
Currently numbering 90-plus singers, the choir is looking to expand membership to 120. Next year’s season, announced below, will include KCS’s fourth annual collaboration with Philharmonia Northwest orchestra for Beethoven’s 9th symphony at Benaroya Hall, as well as a concert in May featuring a newly commissioned masterwork by choral composer Ola Gjeilo.
KCS is committed to creating a quality experience not only for its audiences but also for its singers, providing opportunities to socialize and enjoy the process of creating music together. Join a great group of people and a terrific maestro for our exciting set of concerts for the 2015-2016 season. KCS rehearses Wednesday evenings in Kirkland, September through May.
