Executive Chef Brian Scheehser and Pastry Chef Sandra Watson of The Heathman Hotel are extending their English-inspired afternoon tea service to a Thursday through Sunday year-round experience.

The menu showcases local ingredients, most of which are sourced from Scheehser’s 18-acre Woodinville farm. Served in the richly appointed Hotel lobby from 12-4 p.m., it offers guests a chance to relax and enjoy an intimate conversation over sweets and savories.

“This has quickly become a favorite Eastside tradition inspired by America’s new love affair with afternoon tea,” says General Manager Troy Longwith.  “We are pleased to offer a variety of loose leaf teas to accompany traditional savory sandwiches, harissa deviled eggs, Trellis fresh baked scones, and confections. Great food and classic service, along with a touch of flair makes our signature tea a not-to-be- missed dining and social activity event.”

Afternoon Tea service is priced at $29 per adult and $19 for children 12 and under. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Trellis at 425-284-5900 or via OpenTable.
