Expect traffic delays during Kirkland Oktoberfest Sept. 27-29

Commuters should expect traffic delays due to Kirkland Oktoberfest to be held Friday, Sept. 27 through Sunday, Sept. 29 at Marina Park in Kirkland.

The Lakeshore Plaza lot, Lakeshore Plaza, and Kirkland Avenue from Lake Street to the city dock will be closed beginning 5 a.m. Friday to 11 p.m. Sunday.

Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or carpool, and plan for their parking in advance. The city of Kirkland’s boat launch will remain open all weekend, however boaters should expect delays.
