The City of Kirkland Parks presents the 2009 Northwest Senior Games in cooperation with the cities of Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Mercer Island, and Shoreline. The event runs from June 19-28. Since 1998, the Northwest Senior Games has provided athletes of all abilities, age 50 and older, the opportunity to participate recreationally or competitively in various sports.
