Artist and psychologist Dr. Sheila Adams will open her sculpture exhibit, “Whatever Comes to Mind,” at the Blaubak Gallery on Feb. 12, during a solo show of sculpture, paintings and mixed media from 7-9 p.m.
During the evening, the Redmond artist will do a spellbinding performance piece, a sculpture made of many bright colored aluminum coils, to music provided by her son, Ben Averch of Sammamish. Adams exhibit will run through Feb. 27 at Blaubak Gallery, located at 133 Lake Street S., Kirkland. A non commission gallery for local artists, Blaubak is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesdays through Friday by appointment only. For information, visit www.blaubak.com or call 425-822-2313.
