The Calabrisella Italian Restaurant will host another opera and musical theatre production at the restaurant, 132 Lake St., on Sunday, April 11.

The Calabrisella Italian Restaurant will host another opera and musical theatre production at the restaurant, 132 Lake St., on Sunday, April 11. The show is the result of the collective talents and resources of the Seattle Opera Guild in this popular ongoing series. Singers Jennifer Bromagen, Marcus Shelton, Sara Fletcher and Jennie Shotwell (among others) will sing arias from operas by Floyd, Rossini, Puccini, Verdi and others. In addition, musical theatre will be represented by works from “Guys and Dolls,” “A Little Night Music” and “Sweeney Todd.” There will be two shows at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. For dinner reservations to this quality show, call Calabrisella at 425-822-7350 or visit www.calabrisellakirkland.com. • Studio East in Kirkland is moving in May to the Totem Lake neighborhood behind Dunn Lumber. The popular training center for upcoming talent in musical theatre and stage craft is acquiring expanded space, multi-teaching rooms and a 135 seat theater. The future looks good for the studio, according to Lani Brockman, Studio East director. The first offering will be “Seussville,” a music/revue based on characters and situations from the Dr. Seuss stories. For more information, visit Studio East’s Web site.
