7 Hills of Kirkland event to disrupt local traffic on Memorial Day

Commuters should use extra caution due to the “7 Hills of Kirkland” event to be held at Marina Park on Memorial Day, May 25.

Commuters should use extra caution due to the “7 Hills of Kirkland” event to be held at Marina Park on Memorial Day, May 25.

Riders will be present on roadways from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. A route map is posted online at www.kirklandwa.gov/specialevents. Event organizers anticipate 1,500 cyclists will participate in the annual event which raises money to end homelessness.

Event goers are encouraged to carpool and plan for parking in advance. For public parking, including the Kirkland Municipal Garage, go to www.kirklandwa.gov/parking.
