Responding to Condon’s thoughts on ST3 | Letter

This is in response to Mr. Condon’s April 28 letter about ST3 taxation.

While I commend Mr. Condon for being politically active and advocating for fair taxation, I am troubled by his final comment about the mass transit bill: “Finally, to make matters worse, many of us, myself included, will be dead before 2042 ever arrives.”

To this I reply with a quote:

“A society grows great when old men plant trees under whose shade they know shall never sit in.” — Anonymous Greek proverb
