Apparently someone involved with the “no on annexation” campaign has little respect for the democratic process or individual property rights. A group of citizens took the time to purchase and post pro-annexation signs in Kirkland and the PAA. There was a noticeable absence of anti-annexation signs for a week. However, this week many pro-annexation signs were stolen and anti-annexation signs were left in their place. The signs were taken from both public right-of-ways and private yards. Let’s all try to act like responsible adults until the Nov. 3 election. When the pro-annexation signs go back up, leave them up and let the issue be decided at the ballot box.
