As I recently drove through bustling downtown Kirkland on a Wednesday afternoon and my thoughts were: Drivers! Slow down, watch for crosswalks and pedestrians.
Pedestrians! Slow down, watch for drivers … and please use the lights or the flags when they are available at the crosswalks.
It takes the caution of both driver and pedestrian to avoid accidents.
