Regarding the article by TJ Martinell on July 16, “Lockhart’s passion for the arts will drive Kirkland Performance Center.” I am concerned and sincerely hope Jeff Lockhart will also bring classical music and live theater to the Kirkland Performance Center, in addition to rock bands and rock music.
The KPC was created for all Kirkland residents and in the past has presented excellent theater like “Defending the Cave Man,” jazz and classical music performances. I want to ensure, as the KPC directive states, that Lockhart brings “quality and professional music, theatre and dance to the Eastside.”
